Amazing performances by a team who grew and grew throughout the day, and who played excellent hockey. The lost their first game, drew with Danes Hill, and then won their subsequent group matches. This meant they then progressed to the quarter finals of the Cup competition.

After a long gap, the girls stepped on to the pitch and worked extremely hard, being unlucky not to convert a number of attacking chances. However in the dying minutes a quick break away from the opposition led to a breakaway goal and the final hooter. So unlucky!
