Wilson's won by 57 runs
The sun shone brightly on our first full T20 fixture last Friday evening.
Wilson's won the toss and elected to bat on a damp, slow-paced track.
Freemen's struck early with Jacob (H) getting the opener to glance into the safe hands of our keeper Josh (P).
However, Wilson's rallied and their next partnership was a rather fruitfull 78 runs. This turned into a a very healthy, final total, of 140 with Harishwar (R) finshing on a splendid 76 not out. The reply from Freemen's never really got started with a succession of wickets falling; the top 7 batsman all out for 25. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Jamie (T), in only his second full First Eleven match made a sparkling cameo of 43 not out, with one glorious 6 in the final over. Freemen's finished on 83 in 20 overs for 9 wickets.
A special thanks to Mr G. Marshall, our distinguished groundsman who provided the best pitch we could wish for, despite all of the the rain this week.?
